Description

Software Quality Assurance, as defined by Joseph Juran, is "the entire collection of activities by which we achieve fitness for use [of the software product], no matter where those activities are performed."

This workshop covers the following topics:
• What exactly is Software Quality Assurance (SQA)?
• Why is SQA important?
• When should SQA be involved?
• Who participates in SQA activities?
• Where should the SQA group be located in an organization?
• How should SQA function?
• What are the specific SQA activities?
• What should be included in a SQA plan?

The delivery of quality products requires a combined effort. The various parties required for a successful product delivery are discussed.

At the Conclusion...
The participants should:
Understand the scope of influence of the SQA group
Understand the cooperative effort required to ensure the development of quality products
